Kenneth Jackson "Red" Everhart, 59, of Canaan Drive, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, where he was a member, by Pastor Martin Murphy.
Mr. Everhart was born Sept. 30, 1946, in Davidson County to Allen Richard Everhart and Myrtle Louise Pruitt Everhart. He was a former employee of Lexington Home Brands, Plant 2, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Barbara Shaw and Bertha Crabb.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Farmer Everhart of the home; one son, Thomas Jackson Everhart of the home; one daughter, Amber Nicole Everhart of the home; three brothers, Charles T. Everhart, Johnny Everhart and Cecil Everhart, all of Lexington; one sister, Roxanne Leonard of Lexington; and two half brothers, Ricky and Randy Everhart, both of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the residence.
