Kenneth Dale "Red" Hutchins

Kenneth Dale “Red” Hutchins, 56, of Lingle Farm Road, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, from injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Psalm 91 Church, where he was a member, with the Revs. Max Shoaf and Ronnie Perdue officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Hutchins was born November 19, 1955, in Yadkin County, to Roger Hutchins and Agnes Reavis Hutchins. He was a self employed electrician having also worked for Fletcher Machine for 25 years. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger Lee Brent Hutchins and sisters, Debbie Harrison, Violet Black, and Rita Laws. Surviving in addition to his mother of Lexington are his loving wife, Leisha Farabee Hutchins of the home; daughters, Sarah Hutchins and Misty Stamey, both of Lexington; grandson, Ian Stamey of Lexington; brothers, David Hutchins, Terry Hutchins, Larry Hutchins, and Barry Hutchins, all of Lexington; sister Linda Harris of Lexington; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kaye and Denny Owens of Lexington.
