Kenneth “Ken” Fred Clodfelter, 82, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Ken was born in Davidson County on September 15, 1942, to the late Willis Fred Clodfelter and Mildred Mock Clodfelter. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Harrell Clodfelter.
Ken proudly served his country by joining the United States Army and later began a career as an accountant. During his career as an accountant, he worked at JP Stevens, Salem Carpets, and Wendover Funding before retiring from Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.
Ken enjoyed being outside and working with flowers. He and Judy spent many years selling flowers at the farmers' market. They also directed weddings and provided flowers for the newlyweds. He loved planting new flowers each spring and watching them grow.
He is survived by his beloved wife Judy Riddle Clodfelter, son Kenneth Jason Clodfelter (Michelle), sisters, Linda Martin (Lance), and Doris Hinsdale, sister-in-law Pat Clodfelter, grandchildren Nathan Everett Clodfelter and Kiersten Riley Clodfelter, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6-8 pm, located at Davidson Funeral Home in Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at Oak Forest United Methodist Church, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 3 pm, with a committal service to follow at the church cemetery.
