Kenneth Collin Lookabill, beloved father, son, grandson, nephew, and cousin, passed away surrounded by those who loved him on October 14, 2025.
Born on July 8, 1996, in High Point, N.C., Collin lived a life filled with energy, laughter, and devotion to his family.
Collin is survived by his wife, Emma Sechrest Lookabill, his daughter, Maizey Rae Lookabill, his parents, Kenneth Dean Lookabill and Kimberly Garner Lookabill, his grandmothers, Linda Chavis Garner and Gail Thomas Diaz, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Collin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry Everette Garner and Jimmy Dean Lookabill.
Collin’s greatest joy in life was his daughter, Maizey Rae, who was the light of his world. He loved spending time with her—teaching her how to play baseball, dancing, and sharing the simple happiness of being together. Their bond was one of pure love and joy.
An outdoorsman at heart, Collin found peace on the water, especially when fishing for catfish with his father. Whether he was casting a line at dawn or sharing stories by the water’s edge, fishing was his way of connecting with nature and the people he loved, especially his father and grandfathers.
Collin also had a gift for making the world around him beautiful. He loved landscaping and mowing, transforming every patch of grass and garden into something to be proud of. He took great satisfaction in hard work and in creating spaces that brought joy to others.
Family meant everything to Collin. He mourned the loss of his Grandfather Lookabill and his Grandfather Garner. He deeply loved his grandmother Linda, whom he often asked to read to him from the Bible. She served as a guiding light, offering him spiritual wisdom and life lessons grounded in his faith. Those moments brought him comfort, strength, and a deep sense of peace.
Collin will be remembered for his warm heart, his laughter, and the way he loved with his whole soul. His legacy lives on through the memories shared by his loved ones and the love he passed down to his daughter.
Though gone too soon, Collin’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Greater Vision FWB Church for the immediate family and close friends and will be officiated by Pastor Keith McGee.
To honor Collin's name, the family request donations to Loveline at the Hayworth Cancer Center in High Point or Special Olympics of Davidson County.
