Kenneth Wayne McNaron, 29, passed from this life to eternal rest with our Heavenly Father, June 5, 2014, with his loving family by his side. Kenneth is finally pain free after fighting a hard battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at High Rock Church of Lexington with Pastor Mike Hillard officiating. The family will receive friends at the home.
Kenneth was born October 7, 1984, in Ft. Knox, Ky., to Curtis and Stephanie McNaron, and was raised in Richmond, Va., where he attended Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School for Government and International Studies. He moved to Greensboro, in 2005, and then to Lexington in 2006. Kenneth owned and operated two local businesses focusing on pest control and home repair/remodeling. He avidly loved the Virginia Tech Hokies, riding his beautiful Harley Davidson, shooting pool, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ollie Mae; and paternal grandfather, Luther McNaron.
Kenneth will be remembered and loved by his wife, Lisa McNaron; three children, William, Matti and Harvey. He is also survived by his extended family that include his parents; sister, Melissa Banks and husband Jason; brother, Harold McNaron and his partner Anne Sinkey; grandfather, Kenneth Anderson; grandmother, Barbara Anderson; uncles, Derek Anderson, Ron Anderson and Terry; and aunt, Suzie Anderson as well as his mother-in-law, Lynne Chambers and her husband Bill; his father-in-law, William Lineberry and his wife Peggy along with a host of cousins; nieces, nephews and friends that will forever cherish his memory. Kenneth also leaves behind a beautiful four legged daughter, Dozer, who adored every day with her Daddy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please send donations to the local animal shelter in your area or donate blood to your local Red Cross in Kenneth’s memory.
