Kenneth Franklin Morris, age 76 of Williamson Street, Lexington passed away Tuesday night
(September 21, 2010) at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday (September 24, 2010) at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gavin Pratt officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.
There will be no visitation, however the family will greet friends following the service at the home.
Kenneth was born in Edgecombe County, NC June 18, 1934 to Floyd Raymond Morris and Lessie Elizabeth Wells Morris. He was a retired employee of B-Con Construction of Salisbury and for many years was employed with J.P. Stevens and Frank IX. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Josh Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Holsonback Morris of the home; three daughters, Cathy Martin and husband Michael, Teresa Hepler and husband Charles and Kendra King and husband Eddie all of Lexington; one son, Kenneth Morris and wife Cheryl of Tyro; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one sister Mary Whitehurst of Tarboro, NC; one brother, Curtis Morris and wife Agnus of Clayton; two aunts, Mareen Butler of Virginia and Daisy Godwin of Tarboro; one uncle, Gene Morris of Tarboro.
