Kenneth Morris Nance, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Morris Nance, Sr, 74, of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 12 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.    A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, December 16 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, by Pastor Ron Pennino.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.    The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Saturday prior to the funeral service.    Kenneth was born June 28, 1943 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Kenneth and Nellie Mitchell Bullard.  He served in the US Marine Corps and as a NC Highway Patrolman.  Kenneth was a member of Tyro Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Byrd.    He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Nance of the home; three sons, Kenneth Nance, Jr, (Christa) of Reeds, Doug Nance (Stephanie) of Greensboro, and Darries Nance (Sandi) of Kernersville; his sisters, Faye Williams (Gerald) of Fayetteville and Sharon Day, six grandchildren, Chase, Justin, Garrett, Grayson, Madison, and Kirby; and one great-grandchild, Ivy.    Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
