Kenneth Darrell Prevette

Kenneth Darrell Prevette age 63 of Lexington passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.   A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Good Hope United Methodist Church where he was a member, conducted by Rev. Dustin James with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and at other times at his mom’s home.   Kenneth was born October 27, 1955 in Davidson County to Otto Kenneth and Zula Mae Weaver Prevette. He retired from Epes Transport. His dad and brothers, Terry Lane Prevette and Randy Dale Prevette, all preceded him in death. He loved racing and his dogs. His grandchildren were very special to him.   Surviving are his loving wife, Penny Kiger Prevette, of the home; a son, Matt Darrell Prevette (Rachel) of Lexington; daughter, Cindi Carol Prevette (Jillian Benjes) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Ashton Blake Prevette and Cassidy Virginia Lindsay; and his mom, Zula Mae Weaver Prevette of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Davidson County Animal Shelter, 490 Glendale Road, Lexington NC 27292.
