Kenneth Nolan Shoaf, 73 of NC Hwy 150 North, Lexington died Sunday, May 15, 2011 in WFH-Lexington Medical Center after a sudden illness. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, May 19, 2011 in Friendship United Methodist Church with Rev. Patrick Snow and Rev. Wade Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Shoaf was born April 11, 1938 in Davidson County to Cletus Charlie Shoaf and Thelma Louise Koontz Shoaf. A retired employee of Davidson Water, he was Owner/Operator of K-Lynn Guns. Kenneth was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death was his parents, a brother, Gaither Shoaf, and a sister, Lorette Shoaf Sink. Surviving are his wife, Glenola “Lynn” Freedle Shoaf of the home, a daughter, Scarlet S. Link and husband, Danny of Lexington, a granddaughter, Kendra L. Israel and husband Jason, two great grandchildren, Jaden Danielle Israel, Kinson Luke Israel, two brothers, Dallas Shoaf, Charles Shoaf of Lexington and a sister-in-law, Jennette Shoaf of Lexington. Memorials may be Friendship United Methodist Church, 2840 Friendship Church Rd., Lexington, NC 27295
