Kenneth Lee York

Kenneth Lee York, 73, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Toney Parsons officiating.

Mr. York was born in Davidson County, NC on November 25, 1947, to William Carson York and Lydia Lee Young York. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 8.  He also enjoyed fishing and golf in his spare time. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Melissa York Eddleman (Bobby) and Stephanie York Osborne (Kevin); three grandchildren, Carson Nichols (Tommy), Sean Osborne, and Joseph Turner; wife, Joan York; step-sons Michael Sutton, Joseph Sutton, and Scott Sutton; brother, William “Mickey” York; niece, Michelle Whitson and nephew, Phil York.
