Kenny Junior Clark, 50, of Lexington, North Carolina, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 29, 2026.
Born in Welch, West Virginia, on August 6, 1976, Kenny grew up in Midway, North Carolina, and worked as an electrician. A kind and gentle soul, he had a generous heart, freely sharing whatever he had and giving his last dollar to someone in need.
Kenny’s greatest joy came from his love for Jesus Christ and sharing the good news with others. He wanted everyone to know the Lord, to be assured of their salvation, and to know that they could be together again one day. His faith was central to his life and to the hope he shared with those around him.
His beloved daughter, Gabby, held a special place in his heart. Simply hearing her name brought a big smile to his face. He loved and adored her beyond measure.
Kenny also loved football, especially cheering on his Washington Redskins. On Thanksgiving, he could be counted on to enjoy his dessert close to the television, keeping an eye on the game. Whenever he had the chance, he enjoyed dropping a fishing line in the water.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Whitten Clark Jr.; his grandparents, Matthew and Virginia Hanes and Zelpha Reavil Chaney; and his uncle, Eugene Salyers.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Penny and Craig Denning; his daughter, Gabby; his brother, Kevin Clark, and wife, Cyndi; his sister, Regina Norman, and husband, Chris; three nieces; two nephews; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Kenny was also greatly loved by his uncle, Darvin Salyers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m., at Davidson Funeral Home, 858 Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27127. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 4 p.m.
The family extends a special thank-you to the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem for their compassionate care of Kenny. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the hospice house in his memory.
Kenny leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and generosity. His family takes comfort in the promise of new life in Christ and the hope of seeing him again.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” —2 Corinthians 5:17
