Kevin David Mallard

Kevin David Mallard, age 30, of West Old Highway 64 Lexington passed away Friday morning (December 24, 2010) at his home.  Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday (December 29, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Mike Taylor and Donnie Chapman officiating.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday night and at other times at the home.   Kevin was born in Davidson County, January 13, 1980 to David Calvin Mallard, Jr. and Patrina McMahan Mallard.  He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Mocksville. He was an Auto Body Technician and a pinstripe artist. He graduated from West Davidson High School “Class of 1998”. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather Calvin Mallard.   He is survived by his beloved parents, David Calvin Mallard, Jr. and Patrina McMahan Mallard of the home; grandparents, Odell and Iva McMahan and Imojean Mallard all of Lexington; aunts and uncles, Penny and Barry Kavanaugh, Mina and Sparky Furr and Chris McMahan all of Lexington; honorary uncle and aunt, Danny and Vickie Thompson; and special cousins.   A special thank you to Caron Myers and Lane Parker.   In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Jerusalem Baptist Church, 3203 US Highway 601 South, Mocksville 27028, Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 or Carolina Cancer Services, 25 West Sixth Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
