Kim Doster Harper

Kim Doster Harper, 77, of Mahogany Drive in Thomasville North Carolina, died Thursday May 21, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Salisbury North Carolina.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday at Forest Hill with Pastor Eric Disher Conducting services.

Mr. Harper was born July 6, 1942 in Davidson County to Hulin Harper and Kathline Weaver Harper. He was a member of the United States Army and later joined the VFW Post 3074 and the American Legion Post 8.Kim was retired from Heckman Furniture and a member of Remade Community Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Neil Harper and a sister Barbara Ann Jones.

Surviving is his wife, Lavenia Harper of the home, two sons, Thomas Lee Harper (Beth) of Walnut Cove and Michael Eugene Harper of Lexington; 2 grandchildren, Raven Harper and Justin Lee Harper; and 1 great-grandchild Kingston Harper.
