Kim Calvert Laine

Kim Calvert Laine, 61, of Fairview Drive, died Tuesday, July 25 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A memorial service will be held at 4pm Tuesday, August 1 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Gary McGhee. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Kim was born December 31, 1961 in Davidson County to Jack Andrew Calvert and Sara Elizabeth Cole Calvert. She was a graduate of Lexington High School and attended East Carolina University. She was a former member of Lexington Jaycees and was active in the Amvets Ladies Auxillary. Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving daughter, Carly Owen, and Tyler Hanes of Lexington; her brother, Andy Calvert and wife, Libby of Lexington; her nephew, Cole Calvert and wife, Sarah; her niece, Katie DeGaetano and husband, Robert; and her great-nephew, Jack Calvert.
