Kimbal Lane Bowers

Kimbal Lane Bowers, 47, of Spartan Drive, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by the Rev. Thomas Todd. Burial will follow in Hedrick's Grove United Church of Christ cemetery. Mr. Bowers was born Dec. 10, 1959, in Davidson County to Bobby Richard Bowers and Rebecca Ann Lovell Bowers. He was a former student at the Davidson County Children's Center and worked for the Davidson County Sheltered Workshop. Surviving are his parents, Bobby and Rebecca Bowers of the home, and two brothers, Marty Bowers and Darren Bowers, both of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
