Kyle Franklin Blackwell

Kyle Franklin Blackwell, age 30, of Arvil Hunt Road in Lexington, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, April 15 in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Casey Bradford officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Kyle was born in Davidson County on October 17, 1990 to Charlie Franklin Blackwell and Pamela Jane Durham Forest.  He was employed with A & D Environmental Services in Archdale and attended Amity Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Kyle’s passions included music and motorcycles and he was a proud member of Steel Rain M.C. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by four grandparents, Edward and Bessie Durham, Burris Blackwell, and Josephine Barnhill; and a nephew, James Edward.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Chelsea Muncy Blackwell; his two sons, Chase and Christian Hughes; a daughter, Cloie Hughes; his mother; Pamela Durham Forrest and stepfather, Alan; his stepmother, Carolyn Blackwell; brothers, Jonathan Gordon, Joshua Forrest (Melissa), Cory Forrest (Elizabeth), Timothy Capps (Melissa) and sisters, Joyce Hall (Roger), Tammy Cox (Carl), Tonya Johnson (Chris), Amanda Lio (Raul), Clara Moll (Keith) and LaShona Adkins (Matt) and fifteen nieces and nephews; two aunts, Sheila Grubb (Larry) and Darlene Durham; his Meme; his K9 companion, Charlie; and his feline companions, Meadow and Slim.
