Larry William Auman, 80, a resident of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2022 in Alston Brook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Larry was born on June 9, 1941 in Davidson County to the late William Clovis & Myrtle Maness Auman. He retired from Reynolds Tobacco after several years of service. Larry was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary and was the Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus. He loved classic cars, especially his 1977 Olds 442 and his 1949 Oldsmobile. Larry also enjoyed history and collected antiques from the Civil War and World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris A Snyder.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 10, 2022 at Forest Hill Memorial Park. There will not be a formal visitation.

Larry is survived by his former spouse and best friend, Carolyn Auman of Winston-Salem; a son, Wesley William Auman (Andria) of Kenersville; grandchildren, Caden and Cole; nephews, Joey and Rick Snyder; and a brother-in-law, Paul Loup (JoAnna) of Houston, Texas.
