Larry Fieldmore Barnette, 40, of Old U.S. Highway 52, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at his home after a sudden illness.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Barnette was born May 5, 1966, in Forsyth County. He was an auctioneer's assistant with Cox Auction. He was a loving son, brother, devoted father and a loving husband of 18 1/2 years. Mr. Barnette loved working on motors and flowers and was an avid gardener.
Surviving are his wife, Sabrina Kay Wade Barnette of the home; two sons, Stephen Eugene Wade and Christopher Shannon Barnette, both of the home; one daughter, Amber Nicole Barnette of the home; his parents, Larry Homer Brindle and Joann Story Brindle of Lexington; three brothers, Franklin Story and his wife, Margaret, of Johnson City, Tenn., and Joey Story and Carlin Barnette, both of Lexington; one sister, Carolyn Perkins of Polo, Ill.; his mother and father-in-law, Clifton and Nancy Wade of Lexington; a brother-in-law, Jonathan Wade and his wife, Dana, of Lexington; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family for the needs of the children at 7437 Old U.S. Highway 52, Lexington, NC 27295.
