Larry Beck Jr.

Thomas Larry Beck, Jr., 54, of Holloways Church Road, died Friday, April 26 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, May 1, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Davis.  Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2pm Wednesday prior to the funeral service and other times at the home of his mother on NC Highway 8, Lexington.

Mr. Beck was born January 28, 1965 in Davidson County to Thomas Larry Beck, Sr. and Patsy Newsome Beck Trivette.  He was a 1984 graduate of Central Davidson High School and worked as a mechanic.  He attended Lighthouse Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucy Owens Newsome, and his brothers, Robert Woodall, Jr., and William Paul Woodall.

He is survived by his mother, of Lexington; his father, of Charlotte; his uncles, Billy Newsome (Carol) and Jerry Newsome, both of Lexington; his aunt, Mary Lanning (Buck), of Lexington; several cousins, and his special dog, Whiskey, whom he loved so much.
