Larry Alan Berrier, 66, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at First Reformed United Church of Christ in Lexington. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Larry to join them in honoring his life.
Born and raised in Lexington, Larry was a proud graduate of Lexington Senior High School, Class of 1976. He lived his entire life in the community he loved, making countless memories with friends and family. Larry was an avid reader and loved being outdoors—especially spending time at the lake with the people he held closest. He was known for his easy laugh, love for music, and deep devotion to his family. He also adored his dog, Chaz, and his cat, Leo, who were constant companions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann Berrier Beckom and C. Bryce Berrier.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Donna Berrier, and their daughter, Monica Cauble (Marc). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Sarah Dellinger (Luke), Anna-Claire Tiller (Nick), and Noah Cauble. His joy grew even greater with the arrival of his great-granddaughters, Avie and Ellis.
He is also survived by his brother, Mike Phillips (Kathy), and their sons Brent Phillips and Jeremy Phillips (McKensy); and by his sister, Amy Berrier, and her children Elizabeth Fowler and Dr. Dylan Tussey (Sarah). Larry’s love extended to a large family circle that included aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Reformed United Church of Christ at 104 E. Center Street, Lexington, NC 27292, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
