Larry Dean Cope

Larry Dean Cope, 78, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 am Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mr. Cope was born June 17, 1944, in Davidson County, to Addie Aires. He was a member of Faith Way Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his fiancé, Betty Ware of Lexington; four sons, Ricky Powell of Lexington, David Cope of Taylorsville, Jeffrey Ware of Denton, and Bradley Ware of Lexington; one daughter, Regina Rufty of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Chad Hollman (Brandi), Timothy Powell (Brittany), Dylan Powell (Sami), Brandon Parker, Amber Craver (Josh), Crystal Noland (Dakota), Lee Mullis, Cindy Sweeney, Cory Cope, and Trey Cope; great-grandchildren, Shawn Hollman, Logan Hollman, Gabe Powell, Cayden Powell, Sam Powell, Delilah Powell, Faith Craver, Samuel Craver, and many more great-grandchildren.
