Larry Ray Curry, 67, of Becky Hill Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday June 20, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Mayhan officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service and at other times at the home.
Mr. Curry was born December 22, 1944, in Davidson County, to Lawrence and Mildred Michael Curry. He was the retired owner and operator of Curry Paving. Mr. Curry was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Miranda D. Eagle.
Surviving are his wife, Jerleen O’Neal Curry of the home; sons, Craig L. Eagle and wife Lexa of Tyro and Timothy W. Eagle of Lexington; a daughter, Susan E. Robbins and husband Michael of Linwood; grandchildren, Brandon C. Eagle and wife Alicia, Matthew T. Wood and Kala S. Wood all of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Thomas Lee Wood, Shaughnessy Craig Eagle and Alma Marie Eagle all of Lexington; and special uncle, Jerry Michael of Becky Hill Road, Lexington.
