Larry Dale Smith

Larry Dale Smith, age 47, of Happy Hill Road passed away Thursday morning (February 26, 2015) at his home after an extended illness. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, NC with the Rev. J.C. Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, NC. Mr. Smith was born on October 1, 1967 in Davidson County, NC to Leroy Smith Sr. and Mary Holbrook Smith. He was a former brick mason and was employed by RC Koonts & Sons Masonry. He attended Leonard Road Baptist Church in Lexington, NC was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is one son, Joshua Dale Smith of Germanton, NC. Other suvivors include Jeffrey Smith, Hannah Cannady, Amelia Combs, Angela Jordan, and Allison Jordan all of Lexington, NC;two brothers, Leroy Smith Jr. (Angel) and Steve Goodin both of Lexington, NC; four sisters, Rebecca Walker, Lynn Smith, Cynthia Lee Smith, and Wanda Knote (Von) all of Lexington, NC; and seven grandchildren.
