Larry Tyrone Garrett

Larry Tyrone Garrett, 79, of Lexington, passed away February 25, 2022, at his home in Lexington.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Garrett was born November 8, 1942, in Davidson County, to Delton Henry Garrett and Eloyce Ruth Carr Garrett. Larry was a member of Rich Fork Baptist Church and the church choir for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army and having played in the Army Band. He loved to play the drums and the guitar and sing. Larry was a loving farther and Grandfather, who will be missed by all.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Larissa Myers (Ashley) of Bolivia NC, grandchildren, Drake Leonard (Aaron) of Jamestown, NC, and Dalton Whitt (Bailey) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, also his great-grandson, Greyson Whitt, his brother, Dwight Garrett
