Larry Ronald Harvey

Larry Ronald Harvey, age 68 of Winston Salem, passed away suddenly Wednesday night April 28, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service to celebrate Larry’s life will be held at a later date in his home state of Texas. The family will have a visitation 4:00p.m. To 6:00p.m. Sunday May 2, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times will be at their respective homes. Larry was born November 6, 1941 in Gonzales Texas, to James Albert and Josephine Gatlin Harvey. He was self employed as the owner of several companies in the area; he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife Nancy Grubert Harvey of the home; four sons Larry Conway (Christina) of Marion Va., James Harvey (Tracy), Jay Grubert (Amie) both of Winston Salem, and Michael York of Mississippi; two daughters Sharon Hart(Gary)of Marion Va. and Tracey Couch (Myron) of Abbington, Va.; two brothers Howard Harvey (Betsy) of Wallburg, N.C. and Buster Harvey (Doreen) of Brazoria Texas.; two sisters Gladys Pricer (Milton) of Lake Jackson Texas and Rosalee Sanez of Freeport Texas; and eleven grandchildren.
