Larry Gray Hutchins, Sr.

Larry Gray Hutchins, Sr., age 68, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019 with Pastors Harold Harper and Clyde Akers officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Hutchins was born in Rowan County on April 12, 1950 to Roger David Hutchins and Agnes Reavis Hutchins. He was a retired furniture worker having worked for Lexington Home Brands. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Hutchins and Terry Hutchins; and three sisters, Violet Hutchins Black, Rita Laws, and Deborah Harrison.

Surviving are his loving wife, Betty Jane Lanning Hutchins of the home; a son, Larry Gray Hutchins, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Ronda Fletcher (Johnny) of Lexington; two brothers, David Hutchins and Barry Hutchins (Angela) all of Lexington; one sister, Linda Harris of Lexington; and one grandson, Austin Gray Fletcher.

Memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of Davidson County at 25 W. 6 th Ave, Lexington, NC 27292.
