Larry Clifford Jenkins

Larry Clifford Jenkins, 68, of Jerusalem Rd., Lexington passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Forsyth Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 20, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bradley Testerman and Doug McGee officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Jenkins was born February 9, 1949 in Davidson County to Clifford William Jenkins and Beatrice Elizabeth Benson Jenkins.  He attended Arrington Heights Free Will Baptist Church, he was a Sergeant with the Davidson County Correctional Center.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are wife, Lou-Ann Jenkins of the home; a son, Clifford Christian Jenkins (Diane) of Kernersville; three daughters, Brandy Charleen Jenkins of Aiken, SC, Inva Lou Jenkins, Morgan Elizabeth Jenkins both of Lexington; two grandchildren, Ranae Tuttle and Zack Jenkins; four sisters, Paulette Adams, Patty Palmer (Mike), Barbara Frizzell (Tim) all of Lexington, Dotty Barnes (Jerel) of Florence, SC; several nieces and nephews.
