Larry Cleveland Kines

Larry Cleveland Kines, age 77 of Snider Kines Road, Linwood passed away Sunday night November 3, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday November 6, 2019 in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Jim Luck officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends a the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service.

Larry was born in Davidson County December 2, 1941 to Lester Cleveland Kines and Troy Burkhart Kines. He was a retired employee of Proctor & Schwartz and was a volunteer with Linwood Fire Department for 45 years where he served in many positions. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Ralph “Sonny” Conrad.

Surviving are his sister, Nancy Kines Conrad of Lexington; brother, Beauford Kines (Teresa) of Lexington; nephews, Cecil Conrad (Daragh), Michael Conrad, Chris Kines (Dee) and John Kines (Jodi); 4 great-nephews, Ryan Conrad, Greyson Kines, Parker Kines and Graham Kines and 3 great-nieces, Ainslee Conrad, Piper Kines and Shae Villanueva.
