Larry Dean Michael

Larry Dean Michael, 83 of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 22nd at Friendship Church in Lexington with Rev. Steve Hardy officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will visit with friends from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday evening at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Larry was born on September 16, 1940, in Davidson County, NC, to Charlie Lavon and Annie Mae Leonard Michael.  He retired as a self-employed brick mason.  In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie and Leonard Michael, and his sister, Joan Spry.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Alice Michael; sons, Larry Michael, Jr. (Luke Sumpter) of Greensboro, Lee Michael (Angel) of Lexington; daughter, Teresa Haines (Ron) of Lexington; 9 grandchildren, Jagger, Daniel, Cory, Jacob, Lisa, Kimberly, Kristen, Joey, and Tiffany; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friendship Church, 2840 Friendship Church Road, Lexington, NC 27295.
