Larry Monroe Norman

Larry Monroe Norman 74 passed away at his home Monday morning, May 16, 2016. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Walkertown, NC with Rev. Tim Blackburn officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Larry was born in Forsyth County on February 25, 1942 to R. Monroe Norman and Irene Perkins Norman. He worked at R J Reynolds Tobacco. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Beverly Proctor; a grandson Corey; two brothers and two sisters. Surviving is his wife Linda M. Norman of the home; three sons, Rodney Norman (Betty) of Winston-Salem, Jeff Norman (Anita) and David Norman (Meghan) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Cindy, Daniel, Derrick, Layne, Michael, Rhett, Drew, Madison and Emma. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Winston-Salem, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
