Larry Craig Pickett

Larry Craig Pickett, age 69, of Center Church Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, May 29, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Darrell Cartrette and Ray Roberson officiating. Inurnment will be at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday night.  Larry was born in Davidson County, August 27, 1947 to Bernice Ruth Pickett. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church and a retired employee of PPG. He was preceded in death by his mother; daughters, Amanda Pickett Hill and Angie Pickett.  Surviving are his wife, Jean Hartley Pickett of the home; daughters, Christy D. Mize of Clemmons and Amy Boze (Glynn) of Surf City, NC; son, Tim Pickett (Donna) of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Julie Pickett, Steven Pickett, Allisha Hill, Cassie Hill and Griffin Boze.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Path of Hope, 1675 East Center Street, Ext., Lexington, NC  27292.
