Larry Smithton Potts, Jr.

Larry Smithton Potts, Jr., 84, passed away at his home on June 21, 2026.

Born on December 25, 1941, he was the son of the late Lowery Potts, Sr. and Minnie Potts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Potts.

Larry was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent 45 years as a Produce Manager with Winn-Dixie and later worked for 8 years with Food Lion. He also proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Rogers, who will cherish his memory.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Rev. Dr. Ray Howell III officiating.

Larry will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his dedication to his family, and his years of service to his community and country.
