Larry Dean Tysinger

Larry Dean Tysinger, 80, of Davidson County, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at his home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, with Pastor Sammy Allison officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2024, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

Larry was born on January 3, 1944, in Davidson County, to the late James Wilbur Tysinger and Florence Thompson Tysinger. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Epes Transports.

Larry enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. The most important part of his life was his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Harriet Richardson Tysinger; son, Christian Tysinger; and ten siblings.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Garrett Tysinger of Lexington, and Eric (Rita) Tysinger of Lexington; brother, James (Vickie) Tysinger, of Archdale; sister, Diane (Sammy) Allison, of Lexington; grandchildren, Chase, Cody, Cheyenne, Owen, Emily; and great grandchildren, Gavin, and Tuff.
