Larry Van Wray II, of Cunningham Brick Yard Rd., Lexington passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. A funeral service will held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Lance Scarlett, Junior Seawell officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at his Mom’s home. Mr. Wray was born April 15, 1967 in Davidson County to Larry Van Wray and Myra Grubb Wray. He was a former owner/operator of Triad Carving Shop and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Melanie Joy Tuballa Wray of the home; a son, Joshua Van Wray of Hawaii; a granddaughter, Peyton McKenzie of Thomasville; father, Larry Van Wray, Sr. of Lexington; mother, Myra Grubb Hunt of Thomasville; and a brother, Michael Shane Wray of Lexington; nephew, Tyler Shane Wray; aunt, Shelia Gabard (Don), uncle, Steve Grubb; aunt, Wanda Clodfelter (Austin); aunts, Joy Thompson and Judy Lambeth.
