Laura Ann Kinney Kepley

Laura Kinney Kepley, 88, of Davidson County, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Mark Rachels officiating.

Laura was born on August 28, 1935, in Davidson County, to the late Albert Walker Kinney and Allie Rose Crotts Kinney. She worked for many years at Lexington Furniture Industries and attended Community Church in Lexington.

Laura loved animals and always had pets throughout her life. She also enjoyed mowing the grass and keeping her yard tidy and manicured.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Kepley, son, Otis Kinney; daughter, Lori Rogers; brothers, David Kinney, Ronnie Kinney, and Jerry Kinney; and sister, Lorene James.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Darlene Barnes (Teddy), of Lexington; brother, Jimmy Kinney (Debbie); sisters, Alice Dennis (Steve), Linda Montgomery, (Gary), and Shirley Lamb; sisters in law, Jewel Kinney, and Cindy Kinney; grandchildren, Casey Hulsizer (Justin), and Nikki Miller (Sam); and great grandchildren, Carson Hulsizer, Ella Hulsizer, Elliot Miller, and Emmet Miller.

A special thank you is given Cindy Kinney who went above and beyond for giving special care to Laura.
