Laura Barnett Lemon

Laura Jean Barnett Lemon, 61, of Warf Road in Lexington, died Thursday, March 26, 2020 at her home.

A service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Lemon was born March 15, 1959 in Erie County, New York to Richard Barnett and Jean Ryan Barnett. She was President of Trade Wind Treasures, an avid animal lover and enjoyed gardening.  She received her MBA from Garner Webb University.  She was preceded in death by her mother.

Surviving is her husband, John Lemon of the home; one step son, Michael Lemon of Lexington; one step daughter, Bridget Brummett of Beaufort, North Carolina; her father; five brothers, James Barnett of Texas, Michael Barnett, of Pennsylvania, David Barnett of New York, Peter Barnett of Georgia, and Joseph Barnett of New York; and one sister, Katherine Freeman of New York.
