Laura Surratt

Mrs. Laura Younts Surratt, age 84 of Becks Church Road, Lexington, NC died Saturday, May 9 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral Service will be held AT 2:00 pm Wednesday May 13th at Becks Reformed Church with Rev. James Byers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the residences. Mrs. Surratt was born February 19, 1931 in Davidson County to Walter Grant Younts and Mary Lohr Younts. She was a homemaker and member of Becks Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband H. Lloyd Surratt on March 4, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Mary Lynn Beck (Keith), Beth Green (Jimmy) and Julie Barlow (David) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Josh Green (Tonya), Lauren Beck, Sara Beck, Taylor Barlow and Casey Barlow; great grandchildren Daisy & Natalie; brother Lohr Younts (Linda) of Lexington, brother-in-law Ned Surratt (B.J.) of Phoenix and sister-in-law Betty Younts of Lexington.
