Lauren Michelle Barbee

Lauren Michelle Barbee age 23 of Winston Salem passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 7, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. William Sowers. Burial will follow to Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Lauren was born November 10, 1988 in Danbury, CT to Thomas Richard Barbee and Judi Patricia Barbee. She graduated in 2007 from North Davidson High School and was employed with Break Time of Winston Salem. She is preceded in death by her brother Matthew James Barbee in 2000. Surviving are her newborn son Matthew Kenneth Lewis. Her partner Kyle Shane Lewis, her parents; Thomas Richard Barbee and Judi Patricia Barbee, her sister; Kimberly Diane Barbee all of Winston Salem. Her grandparents; Richard and Roma Barbee of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jean Newland of Greenlawn, NY and Walter Newland of Greensboro, NC.
