Lavonne Johnson Segers

Lavonne Louise Johnson Segers, 63, of Green Meadows Drive, passed away Friday evening May 10, 2013, in Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Lavonne was born on February 18, 1950 in Davidson County to Delmar Wilson Johnson and Rachael Louise Beck Johnson Dixon. She was of the Pentecostal faith and worked in furniture manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her father and a son Richard Allen Segers in 1990. In addition to her mother , she is survived by her husband, David Thomas Segers of the home, son Chris Segers and wife Kelly of Pilot Mountain; grandsons Jacob Segers and Richard Segers; brothers Jimmy Johnson, Mark Johnson and wife Joy; sisters Linda Freedle and husband Rick, Debbie Trent and husband Jerry and Cathy Leonard and husband Neil, all of Lexington.
