Lawrence Bass, Jr.

Lawrence Bass Jr., 64, of Hay Road, Winston-Salem, died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Bass was born in Buncombe County to Lawrence Bass Sr. and Virginia Stanley Bass. He was a retired employee of Stanley Furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Timmy Bass. Surviving are his wife, Angie Cousiamono Bass of the home; one son, Jeff Bass of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Lisa Burton of Lexington; four grandchildren, Anna Venable, Rodney Martin, Angel Bass and Nicki Bass; and one great-grandchild, Wesley Venable.
