LB Deal 81 of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Lexington Health Care. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Wallburg Baptist Church, 5341 Wallburg Rd., Winston-Salem, NC with Pastor Roy Cantrell officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall. LB was born in Wilkes County on August 26, 1934 to Davidson Lafayette Deal and Ethel Church Deal. He was owner operator of Wallburg Farm Equipment. He was preceded in death by his parents. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of sixty years Ethel Mae Childers Deal; a son, Kenneth Brice Deal of Winston-Salem; daughters, Kathy Diane Deal Jones (Ray) of Lexington, Debbie Lynn Deal Eller (Jeff) of Winston-Salem; a brother Royce Deal (Janette) of Maryland, a sister, Dru Miller (Mike) of Roanoke, VA; two grandchildren, Melissa Moser ( Jason ) Jennifer Hansen ( Erik ) and two great-grandchildren, Landon Moser and Hudson Moser. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
