Leah Nunley Boles, of Winston-Salem, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Leah was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born on July 27, 1982, to Johnny and Rena Nunley, Leah grew up in Brazil and became a woman whose life was defined by love, faith, and care for others. She found joy in arts and crafts, reading her devotions, spending time outdoors, and surrounding herself with the beauty of nature, especially wildflowers and sunflowers. Most of all, she cherished her role as a mother and caregiver, pouring her heart into her family, friends, and animals.
Leah is survived by her loving husband, Travis Boles of the home; her four precious children, Natalie and Brenham Robbins and Trinity and Scarlett Boles; her parents, Johnny and Rena Nunley; her brother, Micah Nunley of Advance; her sisters, Jonna Reiner (Dan) of Pfafftown, Sharon Taylor (David) of Winston-Salem, and Miriam Nunley of Salem, Oregon; as well as a host of beloved extended family members and dear friends, both in the United States and in Brazil.
A service honoring Leah’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, 858 Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem, NC, with Russ Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Salem Pregnancy Care Center, 3001 Maplewood Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27103—an organization that was dear to Leah’s heart.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, is honored to serve the Boles family during this time.
