Lee Roy Cabe

Lee Roy Cabe, 93 of Lexington passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday April 13, 2025.

Lee Roy was born on Oct. 21, 1931, in Sylva, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin Cabe and Beulah Frady Cabe, grandson Brad Jones, great granddaughter Braelynn and great grandson Key.

Lee Roy spent his career in the furniture industry as a foreman. He had a passion for fishing and bowling. He also loved his morning visits with friends at McDonalds, going to church and the Tarheels.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Connie Cabe, brother James, sisters Shirley, Marie, and Betty. Three daughters Linda Cabe Shaw, Susan Cabe, and Danyale Freedle (Jason) and son Clayton Jones (Angie). Grandchildren Brianna Cabe, Cheyenne Cabe (Keyon), Madison Cabe (Lucas), Landen, Christian, Hunter, Jase, Maddox, Memphis, Chance, Kendra (Bo), Stephanie, Christy, Amy, and Michelle as well as 5 great grandchildren Brayden, Dylan, Johanna and Eliza to include his “best friend” Marcellus.

He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First Pentecostal Holiness Church at 1448 E US Hwy 64 Lexington, NC 27292 on April 17, 2025, at 6pm.
