Lee Reed Kilpatrick

Lee Reed Kilpatrick, 76, passed away Tuesday December 30, 2025, at his home in Linwood.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday January 3, 2026, at Cross Point Church of Lexington with Rev. Michael Greer officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday at the church.

Mr. Kilpatrick was born January 11, 1949, in Buncombe County North Carolina to Troy Lee Kilpatrick and Virginia Mae Woodby Grosskopf. Lee enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, boating and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Sylvia Ann Kilpatick and his second wife Teadye Sue Howell Kilpatrick and a sister, Phylis Cross.

Surviving is his two sons, David Kilpatrick (Tracy) of Lexington and Benjamin Powers; a brother, Tony Dills (Pat) of Weaverville North Carolina; 2 grandchildren, Sarah Kilpatrick Booe (Nick), and Jonathan Kilpatrick (Grace) and 3 great-grandchildren, Emersyn Booe, Daniel Booe, and Sutton Booe.
