Lee Phillips

Gilmer “Lee” Phillips, 54, of Becky Hill Road, died Friday, May 31 at Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 4 at Friendship United Methodist Church by the Revs. Patrick Snow, Ken Harris and T.W. Bailey. There will be no public visitation, but the family will receive friends at their respective homes. Lee was born May 25, 1959 in Davidson County to Gilmer Wade Phillips and Ann Gallimore Phillips. He was the owner of S&S Car Detailing and Glass Beading, and was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife, Betty Grainger Phillips of the home; his parents, of Lexington; his daughter, Karey Phillips of the home; his step daughters, Jessica Watson and husband, Jeff, of Lexington, and Mellissa Daye of Florida; and a step-granddaughter, Cherish Watson. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
