Lee Pollock

George ‘Lee’ Pollock, 77, of Sink Road in Lexington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Bethesda United Methodist Church Family Life Center with Rev. Manuel Wortman and Rev. Rick LeBaube officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after the service in the Family Life Center.

Lee was born in Davidson County on January 28, 1941 to Sim Lee Pollock and Kathryn Eanes Pollock.  He was called to be a minister, receiving a Master of Divinity and serving for 42 years at Grace United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC; Center United Methodist Church in Concord, NC; Calvary United Methodist Church in Asheboro, NC; Midway United Methodist Church in Lexington, NC; Taylorsville United Methodist Church in Taylorsville, NC; Rankin United Methodist Church in High Point, NC; Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Advance, NC and Canaan United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, NC.  Lee was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Becky Surratt and brother-in-law, Donald Surratt.

Surviving is his loving wife, Mary Alexis Hinkle Pollock, of the home; daughters, Melanie Murray (Joe) of Summerfield, NC; Kristy Priest (Archie) of Asheboro, NC ; step-sons, Jeremy Ammons (Kelly) of Salisbury, NC; David Ammons (Angela) of Welcome, NC; 6 grandchildren; Megan Davis (Austin), Meredith Priest, Madison Priest, Kaleb Ammons, Kameron Shoaf, Alee Ammons; and beloved puppies, Georgie and Sissy.
