Leigh Ann Leonard

Leigh Anne Leonard, 32, went home to Jesus on Monday, June 30, 2014, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem surrounded by her family. Her life was short but very full. She was our sunshine, and she made us better people just by loving and caring for her. She touched many lives with her love and infectious laugh. We were blessed to have her as our daughter. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lewis Johns. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Miss Leonard was born Oct. 27, 1981, in Davidson County to Donald Craig Leonard and Doretha "Dode" Brigman Leonard. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Jettie Brigman, who were the love of Leigh Anne's life. Surviving are her parents of the home; two brothers, Matthew Craig Leonard of Tyro and Jonathan Bradley Leonard of Charlotte; grandparents Don Leonard, Eva Brigman and Nancy Leonard, all of Lexington; and godparents Tim and Karen Lineberry.
