Leigh Leonard

Norma Leigh Leonard, 56, of Biesecker Road, died Monday, February 24, 2014, at her home following a short illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Titus officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Leigh was born March 18, 1957, in Davidson County, to Ed Leonard and Norma Money Leonard. She graduated from Lexington Senior High School and attended Western Carolina University. She was owner/operator of Leigh’s Dance Studio in Hamlet and was a member of First Alliance Church. In addition to her mother who died in 1978 she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Leonard. Surviving are her father of Lexington; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
