Lenn Dale Nance

Lenn Dale Nance, age 72, of Winston Salem passed away Friday, January 06, 2017 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.   A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Max Shoaf officiating.   The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.   Mr. Nance was born in Davidson County on May 21, 1944 to James Howard Nance Sr. and Evelyn Dale Goodnight Nance. He was a retired lab courier from Forsyth Medical Center and was a member of Psalm 91 in Lexington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Nance Jr.   Surviving are his loving wife, Hope Yvonne Pardon Nance of the home; two sons Jeff Nance of Winston Salem, and John V. Pardon Jr. (Jean) of King; three daughters, Tara Skelton (Lenny) of Mcleansville, VA, Rhonda Sharpe (Tommy) and Kay Walters all of Midway; nine grandchildren, Hope, Tom Jr., Lillie, Daniel, Taylor, Delaney, Grace, Belle, and Georgia; and four great grandchildren, Katie, Allie, Camdyn, and Talyn.   Memorials may be directed to the Crisis Ministry of Davidson County at 112 E. 1st Ave Lexington, NC 27292 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Winston Salem and Forsyth County at 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Road is assisting the family.
