Leo Brady Morrison, 69, of Texas Drive, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Hinkle Hospice House, following two years of declining health.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers and Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in North Lexington Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Morrison was born May 18, 1940, in Davidson County, to Charlie William Morrison and Lura Alice Trippett Morrison. He was a machine operator at Rex Plastics in Thomasville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Sue Gabard.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Hughes Morrison of the home; daughters, Tammy Willetts and husband, William, of Lexington, and Angela Groce and husband, Spencer, of Churchland; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a twin brother, Theo Morrison and wife Christine Marie of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2009, at the funeral home and other times at the home on Texas Drive.
